Alisha & Justin were winners of a Valentine’s Day
Engagement Shoot giveaway I did over on Facebook
We met at their favorite beach, Kauri mountain on the Saturday of Easter weekend, which also happened to be Justin’s birthday!
We were lucky with the weather with it not being too cold for the change of season and also a beautiful sunset over the hills.
The Photoshoot itself was only 45 minutes (from my first frame to the last) and it was a walk along the beach with some easy direction with posing. This is enough time for me to capture a variety of shots and not too long for the couple.
45-60 minutes is all I will need on your wedding day to capture your bridal party and couple portraits as well (this does not include travel so factor that into your timeline when planning your day and make sure you chat to your photographer too)
Engagement photoshoots are a great way to celebrate this special time in your relationship. It’s not often you will have professional photos of you with your partner and these photos can be used for sharing news on social media leading up to your wedding day. Images can be used on invitations and wedding websites as well.
You may also like to book an engagement photo shoot to see if you get along with the wedding photographer you plan on booking. After all, you are spending most of your day with them, so you want to know that you can relax and that they know their stuff.
